I ain't master of any minds however, my favorite when I was bending nails was a 19oz Vaughn with a curved handle for a Cali type checker faced framer.@Mastermind . What was your favorite framing hammer? I have a Hart wooden handle California framer that is my all time favorite. Found this 21oz Craftsman framer at my brother's house and brought it home. Also a non-professional but still have a 22 oz fat max anti-vibe framer from about 18 years ago, has built 2 house additions, a chicken house, a bunch of decking & steps, and pounded thousands of fence staples. All metal hammer with slight grip swell at end of handle. Face checkering is pretty much gone though.I bought one of those . Just not a fan of the bent handle
