I just half-dozed last night, on my way to an afternoon nap.
"semi" hard. "half" dozed. Slackers!!

Good morning fellas. Headed out the door to Frankfort in about an hour. Gonna stop at the cabin for lunch and check out the low bush blueberry sitch in the Huron-Manistee on the way.

So...what was the verdict on the saw that took a cooling off swim?

Well, this morning he had another go at starting that swimming saw (rear handle ms151) it popped once but refused to do anything else 🤷‍♂️
He said he’s going to take it apart tomorrow,
I suggested we flush the crank with some fuel mix today (as it be buggerd if any rust starts to set in). But he thinks I will be ok so we didn’t…🤨
I also said I don’t want him to give me a box of wet parts.. asking if I can fix it.
I will hopefully I will get some pics, as it’s not everyday i see a chainsaw take a dive in a pond/lake
Good evening guys.

It was another hot busy day , but anyway we tried for a spark on the swimmer saw. Nada, cleaned the plug and still nada. Took the grounding wire off the coil ….. still nada spark. 🤷‍♂️ so by that time had to leave . But just before , I thought where’s a glass jar or something. 🥸
I found something and poured the tank contents into the clear vessel 🤦‍♂️ was my thought then he asked me what that was and when I said I’ll give you one guess .
His reply was it can’t be water, how the hell did that get in there 🙄IMG_9100.jpeg

I started mowing at 9am this morning, it was 80 degrees and 94% humidity. I am not built for this crap.
This time year, there's two choices. Mow early, when it's too wet, or mow later when it's too hot. Sometimes, you get both.

I rusted out two craftsman lawn tractors before I bought my Cub Cadet. It seems to like the abuse.

Good afternoon guys,
cranking together the bottom parts is going very well, 357 is done and 234 is halfway done.
I thought the 357 oil pumps had significantly different part numbers compared to 346, when I found 544 18 01 03 I was absolutely sure it was 357 even though it has 04. I was wrong there of course and have to order an oil pump tomorrow.

Now a cup of tea before I look for 133/234 parts, I think I have a new crankcase gasket

My work day with projects is over, 357 and 234 have finished the bottom part, now I'm going to drink tea yummy.

Tomorrow I have to finish the 560, hope the coil from Walbro lasts longer than the SEM did, it had a hard working life of 9.5 hours.
