Got some more bad news last night. My Dad had gone in for an endoscopy last week for what's called Barrett's esophagus, especially damage from years of reflux.
They did a biopsy and found some type or another of carcinoma. This is just one more thing piled on him and I'm not sure he's doing too well with it. He sure could use a break from this B.S.
They may start radiation which would cause our Wyoming trip to get canceled and I think that would really take a huge mental toll on him.
Praying for good news and positive outcomes.

Anyway, the OOPS truck brought my @Stump Shot via @Sawdust Man 346xp today. Didn't have time to fire it up for a proper test, but as I was unpacking it, I called the missus over to witness the careful packing. I've received delicate electronics that were not packed so carefully. Hopefully, we won't get the predicted rain tomorrow...

Good morning folks,
slept so-so, am in the chainsaw projects today, washing, getting ready, hopefully changing the bearing in the nos 357 crankcase.
Later I will drive out the logs, I will take them in the timber claw lol

There are little posts in the chainsaw section here, are we dying out?
Don't people bother?
Should we start making build threads?
Do we need a seal tool kit thread idea?

I came here originally for the tech help, but I know what I know now so really am only interested in checking you lot aren't dead currently.

Any tech stuff is a useful resource tho. I've tried to pay it forward, I have a 357 thread in here somewhere actually.

Yep. Forums are pretty much doomed.

I plan on doing a build thread on the scrap bin ms260 I have once I get to it.
I know they are basic saws but maybe someday it will help someone. I know I've heard from a few my 046 thread helped them figure out the chain brake linkage and such so it's worth the effort.

I cooked up a mess of chicken fajitas on the flat top. I'll grab a picture tomorrow before I flush.
Did a porketta roast in the crock pot with an onion a bunch of carrots and red potatoes to top it off. After clearing the veggies off, I couldn't get the roast out in one piece as it was falling apart before I could get it to a serving plate. No knife was needed to get a serving either. Most tender pork roast I've ever cooked. All thanks to the mosquitos that I was avoiding use of the outdoor grill.

Old threads here (and there) are a gold mine. I can usually get answers to my stupid questions with a search.

PS: I think I am probably not currently very dead. Update after coffee.
