Absolutely, lots of Kristianson and even some Tergesens. This store is a favourite of mine even though it no longer sells hardware. https://www.travelmanitoba.com/directory/h-p-tergesen-sons-store-phs/In the old days, back in the 1800s, it was quite normal for children to be given a family name after their father's first name, perhaps especially on smaller farms where people were very poor.
When I read the censuses in this valley, in 1700 and 1800, Knut's sons would be called Knutson, while Kristen's sons would be called Kristenson.
It was quite normal for many from Iceland and Norway to travel across the pond to earn money, many also settled there for good.
That’s awesome John. Not only are you getting healthier you are doing it together with big red.Evening guys. Still trying to eat better and lose more weight. Kathy and I just our 2 mile after dinner walk. Never thought I'd be at the point in life where walking around my neighborhood would be this much fun. Down 52# still have more to lose. +GFY if necessary.
Looks like a nice truck other than them stickers.
Are you needing one of those stickers? Or maybe several? Might be useful to hold the body together before it rusts away completely.Looks like a nice truck other than them stickers.
Probably bad and they got pissed off and chucked it! Bought a nailer last year and both batteries had to be warrantied within 3 months. It was my first switch to Milwaukee so it was frustrating to have to buy new batteries to finish the project and wait for them to make those right through my dealer. I still run mostly Dewalt and have batteries that are 6-7 years old. Milwaukee has mechanic side of things by the balls though. The 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4 impacts are great in the field. I’m still up in the air on their construction tools and grease gun. The soldering gun has came in clutch in the field or under a tractor when you don’t want to fight a cord or take the harness out. Just got the nibbler for the project we are doing now.View attachment 456538
Morning fellow slackers. Found this wandering aimlessly along side the highway on my way to work Thursday morning. Felt sorry for it so I promised to take it with me and give it a good home.
Fully charged, charger shows no problem, just a little road rash. It actually shows very little use, not like mine do. Probably got left out in the back of a truck or on a bumper and liberated into the wild. I'll try it out this afternoon on my 1/2" impact.Probably bad and they got pissed off and chucked it!
