What brand plow?
Hiniker. Found it on MarketPlace and snagged it for $850. It’s a V plow type - which will work great for when I’m busting drifts and plowing the road open initially in the fields… I knew it was going to take a little work when I bought it. Whether it was actually a deal or not, is yet to be determined.
I put a rubber cutting edge on the tractor plow. It works excellent on our gravel driveway. So far it’s wearing better than I had expected.
Nice! When I plowed for the county highway dept, we used rubber cutting edges that had carbide sections fused into them. They were MUCH quieter than a steel cutting edges. And they flexed a bit too, keeping the shape of the road.
Dooood! You’re always sick
It was either food poisoning from the buffet, or a 24 hour stomach bug… not cool either way. Let’s hope that was it for a while.

Evening boys. I replaced the most worn out clutch drum I’ve ever seen today. MS461, literally half it is MIA. It’s pretty special…I really need to share the pic. Too lazy to walk back to the shop. Maybe tomorrow

Saved this one with a screen shot.

Good morning fellas. -8 here this morning. I caught a bug and spent the weekend on the couch between running to the bathroom. Better now though!

Heading to my buddies shop to start working on getting that used snowplow fit to my pickup.
You too? If it’s like what we had you better have a bucket or trash can ready when you went! My guts still don’t feel right. Saw my doc today getting gas and he asked how I was feeling and told him if I need a colonoscopy, I was ready!

Evening men. I had a decent day off and went to town. We didn’t feel like eating much so grilled nuggets from CFA it was 😒. My wife came down with the GI bug as well but not as severe so she stayed home. Hopefully hers stays mild. I was about to call it a night and got a call from dispatch about a guy stuck/lost/missing on my WMA so I’ve been dealing with that for 2 1/2 hours when I really just wanted to go bed early and get some sleep finally. Luckily I found them and got them out of here for the night. The truck will be staying put for a while based on their recovery experience, lol. Found a lot of wind damage that came with the front that came through yesterday. I already told my guys to be ready to run roads and cut trees tomorrow, some of them are a complete mess. Night fellas.
