Made it to Merrill. Changed the oil on the Chevy today.

If you get the right newer one you won’t need to change it just add and put a new filter on once and awhile or you can buy a ford and if your lucky it may have extra oil when you change it.

Now that I have finally split a 550 mk2, I am impressed with the crankcase machining compared to the mk1.
If the quality is as good on the 560 and 562 mk2, I can't rule out the possibility of a new 60cc.

My dad came into where I worked wondering why his clutch locked on his 271 and all of the needle bearings fell out. Apparently he never cleaned out behind the brake band, pushing it against the clutch drum while cutting and overheated everything, even melted the plastic body around it. Fun times!

No, but I wish it was that simple. I’ve got him trained pretty good to realize when there is a problem and stop. He did just that. It’s kind of a long story so I’ll update when I’m more sure.

Just got home from having the bladder scope. Very very uncomfortable procedure. Doc says the tumor is very large and looks malignant. Having surgery next Wednesday to remove the tumor and send it to pathology for testing to determine what kind and stage of cancer it is. That will determine what the next step is.
