I threaded pipe in the drycleaning industry for 50 yrs. lots of steam/black iron pipe.
just sold my Ridged 300 electric vise. Kept the dies and cutting fluid bucket just in case i needed them.
Anyone want a 24" steel pipe wrench? those will kill you just toting them around.

Thats whats turning that 141 receding head for me on a drive shaft is a 300.

I have a couple of 24” and a 36” pipe wrench. But everything I have is aluminum. I just dont let FNG’s or helpers use them. Had one that has an offset thanks to a dumbaśs that used to work with me.

Have you ever ran a 1224 machine? They are nice for larger pipe.

I've had the brand before, ergonomically it doesn't fit my perfectly shaped body.

But I understand that it's a good choice for those with a clumsy body!

Just got home from having the bladder scope. Very very uncomfortable procedure. Doc says the tumor is very large and looks malignant. Having surgery next Wednesday to remove the tumor and send it to pathology for testing to determine what kind and stage of cancer it is. That will determine what the next step is.

@ammoaddict a friend of mine was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer a year ago, they then found a spot in his liver. They originally thought he would lose a chunk of colon and liver. Just last week after a couple rounds of chemo the tumour on his colon has reduced to just a scar, he’s still getting surgery on his liver but it has shrunk so much there was debate about whether it was needed or not. You got this.

Morning. 32* and we’ve got a winter storm watch in affect. They’re saying we’re gonna get a whopping 2.5” of snow lol. Meanwhile I’ve got a buddy in the UPMI that just crossed the 100” of total snow for the year. Today I’ve got to figure out how my dad torched my ported 357xp

Just got the email, state offices in most counties are closed tomorrow, lol. This is ridiculous! My 60 yard commute may be too much for me in a 1/2” of snow! I’m going to continue the dozer project since Aiden will be home. Time he runs some 7018s! Stay safe brother.

Evening fellas. Got word that a good friend of mine lost his battle with lung cancer. 62 years old . Machinist and tool and die maker. Probably the smartest person i knew. All that knowledge gone forever now. Then got another call about a friend of a friend that offed himself because of a rough breakup and a hard fight with the bottle. Anyone got any good news?

Evening. We cleared roads this morning while the shop warmed up some then we worked on the dozer project. The Deere dealer surprised me with the delivery of our new 1570 mower. That’s thing is a monster! My technician has been running a 362 here at work and found one on CL for $350. Offered the guy $275 and he took it. It has a WCS bark box and was a tree service saw but is pretty clean. I went over it a little to see what he needs. It has an aftermarket fuel filter and the rim sprocket is worn. I’ve not pulled the muffler to see what the piston looks like. Even at that price he did decent if he has to put some money in it. I’m going to see if the dealer will plug it up and see the data for me Friday. @ammoaddict I’ll be praying for you.

My water line repair failed....but that ain't good news.
