Just got off the phone with my mom. They have above ground power lines that run up their driveway. For years when the power company comes to trim trees my Dad has been telling them 2 top 2 oaks that lean out over them so we could take the rest down. He's always told "supervisor says no".
Well, both trees are now down and so are the power lines..

Sounds like our power company. A few years ago there was a pine tree along the road close to our driveway. It started leaning more and more toward the power lines. My wife called the power company and told them about it. They said we can't do anything until it falls. About a week later we were getting ready for work one morning and the power went out. She was not happy.

My wife has pics like those from Milwaukee when she was a little kid…total destruction of trees.

This reminds me of an ice storm in October of 96, trees full of leaves and no power for a week and this was in town.

Just started the slave cylinder replacement on my chevy beater and have one of those complete pre bleed kits. Wish me luck because snake it thought looks damn near impossible.

Fellers thanks for the prayers and positive vibes. Sadly she didn’t make it. She kicked cancers ass a couple times but her heart gave all the fücks it had to give.

I’ll continue to pray for the rest of you fellers.
