How do you like the 1/4" ratchet you posted yesterday? How many teeth, low backdrag?

It has 60 teeth, and return angle 6˚. It should withstand a bit of torque accordig their specs, 65nm isn't that bad for 1/4"

Preventave SO far. More for seeing fluid level in the sight guage window a bit easier.

I add a blue one to my Dominator because red is a gas fuel colour here so a mix also that colour could lead to mistakes.
Red and blue makes Purple Dominator more easily recognized as such.
A little dye goes a long way.

Good morning gang.

That pita of an electric shredder yesterday, I had it apart twice. Anyway I think it’s the cutter/gearbox semi seized.
So the electronics thinks it’s got a blockage and cuts the power to the motor

I couldn’t/didn’t have time to pull all the gearbox apart and it still don’t run
And it’s gonna be difficult to get it all apart.
It will have to wait till the weekend now

I stripped the shredder in quicker time as it’s probably 4th time .

It was as i finally thought, (process of elimination). The semi seized shaft caused enough resistance, the circuitboard thought it had a blockage/jam and then cut the power to the motor.
I wirewheeled & sandedI as much as I could and then greased it up. It now works as it should . “For a homeowner shredder ”

Btw I thought you,d be wanting the dirty shaft pic's.
