Damit,,!! I bet that hurts 🙄🤦‍♂️

Comon we need the full deeetails

I can’t believe it went twang,! And you were close, or even on the quad at the time .. and bam! You woke up quickly 🥴 with pain
BIG pine behind the pasture had a BIG limb break off last week during all the 60mph wind. It crushed a small oak and a 5” sourwood 🤨

It was right across a path we use, so this morning I set out to slash cut as much of it as possible and get the big stuff moved. I did a lot more than I bargained for and I had just hiked a few miles in hilly terrain. I was tired, which with a spinning set of teeth can be problematic.

I was using my knee to help position the saw. A 4” limb gave me some flack and in my own carelessness the aforementioned spinning teeth bit my kneecap.

Good reminder that chaps aren’t optional, even for quick jobs.

My doctor runs an urgent care. Only 4 miles away. We spent part of our anniversary with urgent care staff 😅

Maybe I'm just young and stupid but I can't imagine strapping on chaps every time I want to cut in the humid heat we get in Illinois. Get well soon!

It's hateful to wear chaps in the heat, for sure, but if you don't you might live to regret it. You don't have to look far on these boards to find stories of folks who've been cut, often just doing "a quick job".

Good morning guys,
I did some work yesterday - Puller Section 1 finished:

The empty boxes are for clutch tools
Let's all take a moment to appreciate the ingenuity of the engineers who ensure that the next saw needs a clutch tool thats different from the ones we already have.

The quick jobs are ones that get me -- where it takes longer to deal the PPE. It’s tempting to think "It's only a small branch and a tiny saw. What could go wrong?"

Hey @Lawless : is the saw okay?
