I can’t believe it went twang,! And you were close, or even on the quad at the time .. and bam! You woke up quickly with pain

BIG pine behind the pasture had a BIG limb break off last week during all the 60mph wind. It crushed a small oak and a 5” sourwood

It was right across a path we use, so this morning I set out to slash cut as much of it as possible and get the big stuff moved. I did a lot more than I bargained for and I had just hiked a few miles in hilly terrain. I was tired, which with a spinning set of teeth can be problematic.

I was using my knee to help position the saw. A 4” limb gave me some flack and in my own carelessness the aforementioned spinning teeth bit my kneecap.

Good reminder that chaps aren’t optional, even for quick jobs.

My doctor runs an urgent care. Only 4 miles away. We spent part of our anniversary with urgent care staff
