It's been a little over 5 weeks since hand surgery. Removable cast is off at home except at bedtime. Wearing the cast when out of the house. Still some swelling and now working on making a fist. Have done some snow shoveling and snowblowing. No pain its just tight, able to grip a piece of 3/4" pvc pipe but nothing smaller in diameter so far.

Not fun, but encouraging. Recovery after any immobilizing injury is a PITA, but it sounds like you're out of the woods. Or back in the woods. Metaphors are confusing!

It does saddens me me a bit to read through a week’s posts in under an hour. So many missing peeps this days…

@Stump Shot or anyone else, have you talked to Ed lately? How’s his dad? Is he still fighting or did F’en cancer take him?

Last I talked to Ed he was doing good just busy. His dad was doing good at that time. I’ll text the slacker to chime in for you.
