They do make a drive in style seal for those so you don’t need to pull them down to change it but they cost about double a normal one at dealership.

Yes I thought that was a possibility, however the pto side has the oil pump cam in the way. So you can’t really just pull the clutch off and washer a pop a new one in. Well I guess you can if I pulled the oil pump out by screwing a bolt into the bottom and tugging it out of the way and pushing it back in.
I was just as happy to do it once and just do both sides and the pan while I was there .. it's wasn’t that long ago I rebuilt it and put new seals in . So I wasn’t really sure why the pto was leaking ? Or was it the pan ? And I sort of saw that the pto bearing had spun a bit beforehand so I wanted to address this issue at the same time. Hopefully I’ve addressed it by dimpling the pan where it sits 🤞 I did check the bearing adswell and that seemed fine..

Any how it got tuned today, it runs like it did before, so what ever was wrong ? I fixed it and hopefully it don’t need to come apart again for another few yrs.
If it does then I think I need to look a bit more into it and ask here why etc.

Made it to and from the office. Left early as it started getting nasty as another system blew in. Driveway will be cleaned with a skid steer later this weekend, just need to not get stuck in it before that happens.

I’d move. Glad you got to and from work today. Looks like you guys have a good amount of snow. We have been losing it with the warm temps and rain this week.

Hand rehab seems to be going fine. Removing cast several times a day to ice hand. Going a couple times per week to rehab. Just some finger bending but no trying to make a fist as the tendons are healing. Stitches come out the 24th. Not using any pain pills. Only a couple Tylenol if its throbbing.

Nice to start the day with some good news!

41f going to 70. Blood pressure is back up and I don't know why. Nothing has changed.

That's great news Ray - I'm thankful we don't have to change your nickname to "lefty"...

It rained a whole lot of firewood in my neighborhood a few days ago, I've been cutting all I can cut.

Wind fall, roots got soggy, or a classic case of chainsaw massacre?
If the truth was told Sasquatch went on a bender and started "TREE TIPPING"
Looks like a good recipe for a tired body and a back ache. Gotta get the wood whilst ya can.

rain with high elevation snow melt turned flooding, washed out 9 or so bridges county wide, than hurricane force winds gave me the best early christmas present Ive ever had, a solid reason to cut firewood until i cannot lift another piece for days, it was beautiful, road blocked in by 50+ down trees, and me all by myself having a chainsaw-a-thon. I didnt get all of them, county road crew showed up with a loader and pissed in my cheerios
