Well it blew hard enough here for the last 4 days that I firmly believe you actually got our snow

I just took the trash can to the street and I am hoping it gets picked up before it blows over

At the beach many years ago a shoulder length hair gal with no noticeable tan line anywhere. Did I mention that she missed trimming a hair or two for that itty bitty bikini to cover. Must have taken all of 2 hours to fire a pick-up line shot to her.

Back at the office, I think most similar to Randy, I am allergic to lazy people and can't stand being surrounded by people that put no effort in their work.

I was skinning out some caribou legs for a lady who wanted them for mukluk tops and I sliced myself on the back of my hand

Not huge, it just took 3 stitches

The caribou legs had been sitting around for a while and I ended up with a blood infection that progressed all the way up my arm and started down towards my heart, and I had to get IV antibiotics

The school nurse noticed discoloration around my collarbone and made me take my shirt off and say the angry red track up my arm

To add insult to injury, when I got to the ER I told them I was allergic to Penicillin and the doctor said I am giving you something in the penicillin family but it is several generations away and won't bother you

Within 30 seconds I went into severe anaphylactic shock and they had to push epinephrine hard and fast to pull me back

Tamara once had an allergic reaction to something and had to be taken to the ER, the student nurse then shot the epinephrine right in to her IV instead of intramuscular as it is supposed too. Next thing Tamara remembers is the Dr saying "She has no vitals, get me the paddles"...

Good grief, that is terrifying

The boss is an RN BSN, among other things and honestly her decades of experience and training and her diligence are the only things that have saved her from blunders like that over the years

I actually called out a nurse once who was about to give her Tylenol 3 after surgery once, when she wasn't in any condition to do it herself

It scares me every time she has to go in for anything the least bit invasive

The boss is an RN BSN, among other things and honestly her decades of experience and training and her diligence are the only things that have saved her from blunders like that over the years

I actually called out a nurse once who was about to give her Tylenol 3 after surgery once, when she wasn't in any condition to do it herself

It scares me every time she has to go in for anything the least bit invasive

Dam good that she has such a good advocate.

I've been in that roll at least 3 time with my misses as well

And, it’s only gonna get worse. Med schools stopped actually training doctors to be diagnostic experts (see the old tv series, House) and started programming young wannabes to use a diagnostic laptop. Which, by the way, are programmed by Ins and drug companies.
We’re pretty much screwed so learn how to keep yourselves healthy!
