Thx for the info Michael. I see Amazon carries the gauze wrap. I'll get some for the truck to keep with me.
Besides the Quick Clot I carry a tourniquet, coban wrap, an Israeli bandage, lots of compressed gauze, ace bandages, etc

Same stuff that soldiers carry in their IFAK

Plus the training to use it

All the fancy chit in the world is useless without the training to use it. Everyone should take a stop the bleed class.

Good morning fellas!
Good morning men, happy Monday. Getting new tires on the van this morning. 55k apparently is all they last these days. Stay safe all. On call for the next 7.
I’m lucky if I get 20k out of a set, and that’s with my truck aligned, etc.

Agreed. More people die from bleeding out than most hear about.
Morning from the tree stand. Turkeys are flying down….my favorite part of the day!!
Good luck!

Of all the hunting you have done, what is/was your favorite game to go after?
Most fun-Antelope, most traditional-Whitetail, most exciting-Bear, most remembered-Caribou, easiest-Sitka Blacktail, the one that always got away-Elk.
Every big game hunt was a good time for me one way or another, even when things went awry. People, places, scenery, travels, meals, etc. all play into having a good hunt, bagging game was a secondary bonus, other than my early years Wisconsin Whitetail hunting, that was doing your part in getting meat for the table that was needed. In other words, it's all about the experiences one has that will turn into memories, the more different ones you have the better off you are.

I feel the same - it’s the whole experience, not just filling the tag. Thanks for answering!
