My dad's older sister passed away early this morning, she was 74. Wasn't totally unexpected, she had been pretty sick for quite a while. She had non-alcoholic cirrhosis and broke her hip and it just spiraled from there. One thing I learned is cirrhosis is a really bad way to go. It's sad, she was a nice lady.

Wasn't mine, it was green fiberglass rods that screwed together. No idea who made it. Don't think he paid a lot for it. Young kid trying to start a business. May bring him to Randy's gtg so he can learn something so he doesn't get hurt. Good kid, hard worker. I can't teach him as I am no pro. I err on the side of caution, and advised him to always do the same.

a woman i know died of it too and never drank alcohol in her life
but it is what killed my dad and granddad but they was alcoholics

My wife's mom died of liver and lung cancer. Never smoked or drank alcohol in her life. Weird huh?

My dad had 2 dates written on the walls of his garage in welder's chalk

As an adult I finally asked him what those 2 dates were for

He told me that was the 2 times he had been right

Not yet. Already got a call from somebody I do a lot of side work with. Said he has to set trusses on a pole building next week so looks like I'll be helping him with that on Friday weather permitting
