i dont take my meds until almost noon or if im working nights at last break about 2am and about 3pm when im getting ready for work
i dont wake up and take them right off

are they deciding what to do for you ?
I take most of the meds an hour after getting up but i don't eat much before then. I need more food before pills.
After i eat lunch i seem to be much better when doing stuff.

I see the doc this week.

We have had 2 sonograms
CT scan
MRI
chemical stress test
A few EKGs
I take my BP about 4 times a day and record it.
I feel fine and can do stuff in the afternoons/nights after i have eaten lunch which is our big meal of the day usually about 3pm.

have they said anything about blockages ?
with the nuclear stress test they said my heart enlarged 30%
the stress test should have shown the blockages
how did it affect you
if it wasnt bad or hard then not bad results
they had to stop mine 3 times and ask if i was ok

The stress test went great i was waiting for something to happen.
I said i was starting to feel something about the time the tech said that it should be tapering off.
It was over before i really noticed it.
No blockages, the heart appeared a little stiff and 2 small spots of dead tissue that was non critical

They also said i had gallstones and i was not pregnant after the sonogram.

and after the stress test i was hoping to die because i felt that bad
they also said i had damage on lower left of my heart

EKGs were all normal no enlargment, no reduction in flow, ultrasound was normal nurse said it sounded good;

BP is low all day it stays 110 to 118 over 65 to 75 70 to 80 bpm
even riding the bike during the ride it is 155 over 96 with 125bpm This is at the last part of a 2 mile ride

Being that low and lightheadedness is telling me that they have you on too high of a dose of blood pressure medicine
Mine will get down to those numbers after exercise but my heart rate will be higher
Need to tell your doctor what is going on
Do you take the blood pressure medicine twice a day?

I’m allowed to have regular coffee so I drink it to help raise the blood pressure also I average 6 to 8 cups a day now
Your exercise blood pressure is close to the limits the nurses at therapy would stop us when the lower number was around 100
They would let me keep on when the upper number was in the 160s but when lower number was around 100 they made you sit down

The doctor will hear about it this week, my wife wants to go with me and she asks a lot of questions.
I take 4 different meds in the mornings and 1 more dose of carvedilol at night.
My neighbor a RN said i really need to eat in the morning BEFORE i take the meds in the morning.

Food raises your blood pressure because it has to work to digest
That’s why you should eat before doing much
I’d be giving atleast 3 hours after waking up to take meds too
By then you will know how you are feeling

That is what i am trying starting tomorrow.
I worked for 49yrs starting at 730 so breakfast was a biscuit about 9am. Then lunch at 3pm.
Now i am retired so i can set my own schedule but old habits are hard to break.
I never had any issues till i retired last year.

It’s been a long year for me
Issues got bad in January and had surgery in April
But at 4.5 months I went to work on a short term job and at 5 months I got to run a saw
I still have muscle pain in the chest but the heart feels good and no pain

About 2 1/2 months ago It came on me late one night just a funny feeling and tight feeling in my arms , checked my BP and it was over 180 so we headed to the ER. I was in the hospital for 5 days with spiking BP They got it down then late at night it would spike up again.
It would get to 180+ and they would shoot me with a drug to bring it down.
They started me on the 4 drugs and after a few days it was stable.
I feel good most of the time except for the few times of low BP.
I am ready to do stuff, i have too much to do, fix and enjoy to wait on this to level out but it can't be rushed.

There has to be a reason why it goes up so high
Does it still go up and down like it did?
