In case any of you pull up a fish, this tool is worth its weight in gold:

Never use one. You are cutting through the guts and tainting the meat. not to mention the waste of fillet that you lose over the ribs. Got a friend who uses one and I make him take the fillets that he cleans. I can clean fish just a quick with a fixed blade and end up with a third more meat. Only done a few thousand over the years.
