Quick sear on the gas grill, wrap in butcher paper, then about 300° for an hour or two.
My wife cooks ribs in the oven - store bought and also the wild hogs we shot, and it’s hard to find ribs from a restaurant that are as good or better. We don’t get the smoke, but with the bbq sauce baked on later, and how tender they are, they’re tough to beat.

Same here. Susan just uses a baking bag and simple seasoning.
Oven is currently out of commission, so I just do basically the same thing on the grill.

Is it a gas or electric? If gas, the ignitor (hot surface type) is easy to replace/swap out!

Did the ingiter in our lower oven a few months ago. The old one would heat up but not quite hot enough to allow the gas valve to open before it timed out. I agree not a bad job to do if that's the problem.

Electric. The mother board went out for the oven. Wouldnt stop heating. Tried to burn the house down twice. Got it fixed under a recall the first time. Damn LG product.
Range unit works perfect though...

We marinate them overnight, then a couple of hours on 300 in the oven....let them cool a bit so they don't fall apart, then onto the grill to caramelize the sauce.

We need rain.

I can trade you some, it's rained here almost everyday for the last two months except a handful of days.

It either rains at night, or during the day, or both. Last night it rained all night, let up for a few hours early morning, then a few storms blew through mid morning, then cleared out for most of the day.....and it's freaking raining again right now. All the rain has helped keep the temps down, last year this time we were in triple digits already and dryer then popcorn. The last few weeks it barely hits 70 for high, few days ago it was in the 30's at night, first time I've ever had a fire in the wood stove in mid June, it was pretty nippy.

We've had more rain in the last two months, than the last 3 years combined. Standing water in all the low spots. All the snow melt in the mountains have the north & south platte rivers ripping right now, higher then they been in years. They have came out of their banks in most areas, flooding a bunch. But you never hear news about this area of BFE Colorado. We got over 9 inches in 2 days in May, about a hour south of me got 19 inches in 48 hours in May.

Neat clouds rolling in this morning, bring in more wet stuff.

Pic didn't turn out as good as it was in person.
