I always had about a 4 foot piece of 1 1/2 plastic pipe
It was long enough to help guide and light enough it could be swung
I would get between the bulls when the neighbors bull got out
I’d get their attention when I’d hit it on the head

fiberglass step-in post works great for that too.

I was unprepared. Usually I have a fiberglass pole.

Got a call from my neighbor. He is getting married today and his wife to be wanted some candle holders, a few rounds and trunk sections to set candles on.
I went out back of his property and cut down a sweetgum that she approved, cut off a few sections making her happy.

Candle holders can be made with a chainsaw and i am a candlestick maker now.

To make 50 candle holders for her friends wedding.

Thats awesome! What size South Bend? They made some great machines... I have been looking for a 16" LeBlond to keep my mill company... So many side jobs fall in your lap when you have open tables and spindles...
