2021 Yukon. 3,300 miles.
Customer complaint of multiple warning lights, messages on start up.
95 dtc's stored in 22 different modules, mostly low voltage and loss of communication.
Battery voltage at 5v. Charged, tested good.
Let sit, same thing.
Charge, tested, failed. Replace battery.
Check parasitic draw, 15mA.
Let it sit outside, started 3 times throughout the day, then 2 hours later, same *s-word. Battery voltage at 3.8v.

I hate cars.

I feel the same way about saws.

Doing ok. Fed the cows....letting my painful finger warm up so I can work.

You should move where it's warm...

The big General in the mitten wants me to remove the fuses for the heated seats and put it back outside. They think the heated seats may be "turning themselves on".
*f-word cars.

Duh, it's cold outside. Lol

I don’t know his back story. I saw his video on the 395 live porting and he didn’t touch the upper transfers nor did he put a degree wheel on it. He just grinded, also didn’t do any machine work. If he charged money for the porting of that caliber that’s stealing.
Where do I send my saw? Do you have the address?

Burn that mfer!

So maybe the ECM is full of moisture or does it have those super wires that feed coolant from leaky sensors straight to the computer?

Fun times they are comin...

So... seats have a mind of their own now... oh my.

I came in late.
You do a battery swap yet or go nuts with jumper cable grounds everywhere? Just thinking out loud

The coolant sensor leaking through the wires was circa 1997-98.
There are more computers/modules in 1 door of this thing than in any 1997 model.

If i'm remembering correctly, that model should have that bus bar type thing on top of the battery that acts as like a distributer block. My Silverado has a similar setup and kept going dead at random times. Finally s**t canned the battery. On installation of the new battery, I found some funky corrosion and a few loose wires and such in that little box thing that was causing bad connection to certain lead wires to accessories and such. I think it stem's from the guys that installed my speakers. Cleaned it all up, tightened all the wire down, little dielectric grease, and a new battery and she hasn't skipped a beat

Even the window motors have a processor in them now. They operate on a LIN (local interconnect network) where they get and send info to the drivers door module. Modules on a LIN network communicate with other modules, but we cannot get data/communicate directly with them.
