Afternoon sock-puppets. If I didn't know better I'd believe that @Loony661 's petrie dishes paid us a visit within the last week. I know that's not the case cause last weeks family gatherings had a fair number of those in attendance.
There’s a lot going around right now. I know quite a few people who are currently sick, or getting over it.

The PT-92's I felt were better than the Beretta's 92, as I liked the frame mounted safety over the slide mount. Never handled or shot their revolvers.
I’ve got a PT1911 and it worked OK until it didn’t. It’s broken on me twice now. Both times it was one of the safety levers that failed because of the cheap metal it was made from. Each time I upgraded them with Wilson Combat parts, now no more worries. Still shoots great.

I don’t think I would trust my life to a Taurus. There’s better options out there.

I don't own any. Mostly smith and Wesson, colt and ruger here. Actually, those are the only handguns I own. I think. Not counting black powder.

Yeah may feel better but if you stripped it down the quality inside will be vastly different I bet. I know 2 gunsmiths that won’t touch a taurus

It's snowing, but it won't be until Sunday that the quantity arrives.

With luck I'll get parts from MaskinSalg tomorrow, advantage of driving over the mountain before all the powder arrives. Always look forward to coming up to them, we have coffee, talk about chainsaws, and life. Don't expect anything special from them but you never know.
Also going to order the 346 crankshaft and some tools.

In the afternoon two part saws may arrive for me. There is comming one part saw on Monday also.

On Saturday I should get chains on the MF, get ready for the snow!

Got my Allis Chalmers fired up. Just needs a fuel tank gasket and a chain. Might restore it.
Believe it or not tractors were a small part of allis chalmers. They built tons of mining equipment for grinding taconite rock and made our kilns at the mine. It’s hard to believe such a giant company can falter bad enough to not exist anymore for the most part. It’s part of fiat group like case and new holland.

That 30-378 must let your shoulder know when you shoot it!
Two three is livable, the rest is pretty painful, yeah.
It's being rebuilt now, Walther precision barrel, 70cm full barrel.
Thought about buying a recoil stock from US that fits a fat barrel.

I mainly use it for beaver hunting lol, 3-400 metre distance

Sounds fun!
It used to have a recoil brake, the one that throws the pressure back at 45˚, it was always fun at the shooting test when we were shooting the hunting test. It threw the pressure out just enough to hit the people lying on the side of me in the face.
None of them made it through the test lol

Another special night was when I had loaded a little stronger, 121 grains to 122 grains. After that first I had to open the bolt brutally, thinking, mischarge.
Shot two same reaction, and the shooting barracks was emptied of people asap lol

My Steyr Mannlicher is my favourite riffle though

Brakes are definitely nice, and at the same time, totally obnoxious.

What bullets weight do you typically use?

Interesting, I didn’t know they made mining equipment.👍🏻

And I realized some may be confused by my original post, to clarify, I’m referring to my model 195 allis chalmers chainsaw, rebranded Poulan 306a.

My friend John Paul has been pretty sick. Not flu, not covid. He could use our prayers.

It's a regular problem. Grandpa did great. Worked hard, built a company. His offspring were slowly spoiled rotten and lost everything he worked for....
