I’ve got a PT1911 and it worked OK until it didn’t. It’s broken on me twice now. Both times it was one of the safety levers that failed because of the cheap metal it was made from. Each time I upgraded them with Wilson Combat parts, now no more worries. Still shoots great. The PT-92's I felt were better than the Beretta's 92, as I liked the frame mounted safety over the slide mount. Never handled or shot their revolvers.
I don’t think I would trust my life to a Taurus. There’s better options out there.
