You've got brakes and oil leak fixed, now if you had some saws you could be loggingI’m back to killing trees and skidding. Brakes work good again, and the fuel pump no longer leaks oil. There was a burr on the casting face. A little filing action took care of that.
Prayers. My friend John Paul has been pretty sick. Not flu, not covid. He could use our prayers.
It's a regular problem. Grandpa did great. Worked hard, built a company. His offspring were slowly spoiled rotten and lost everything he worked for....
You must have some tough beavers there @Tor RTwo three is livable, the rest is pretty painful, yeah.
It's being rebuilt now, Walther precision barrel, 70cm full barrel.
Thought about buying a recoil stock from US that fits a fat barrel.
I mainly use it for beaver hunting lol, 3-400 metre distance

Believe it or not tractors were a small part of allis chalmers. They built tons of mining equipment for grinding taconite rock and made our kilns at the mine. It’s hard to believe such a giant company can falter bad enough to not exist anymore for the most part. It’s part of fiat group like case and new holland.
180 grain Barnes X, muzzle speed 1050 m/sBrakes are definitely nice, and at the same time, totally obnoxious.
What bullets weight do you typically use?
That’s moving right along for a 180gr pill! Bad medicine for whatever swallows it…180 grain Barnes X, muzzle speed 1050 m/s
It must have been at least 15 years since I sent it to a gunsmith and got it back with a Walther precision barrel, I think it's 70cm long now, and the barrel has no profile. I haven't used it since it came back. That’s moving right along for a 180gr pill! Bad medicine for whatever swallows it…
No one would tell you anything like that over hereIt must have been at least 15 years since I sent it to a gunsmith and got it back with a Walther precision barrel, I think it's 70cm long now, and the barrel has no profile. I haven't used it since it came back.
Wonder how it will run with more modern powder and a better bullet choice than what I had in my time.
Barnes X 180 grain and 121 grain Hodgon H870.
I had planned to change the bullets to 165 grain Swift Scrirocco.
I had also found a fancy recoil stock from the US that suited the thickness of the barrel, but I never got that far.
Nowadays, calibers like 30-378 are so dangerous that the police say that gun applications in the caliber are not being granted.
Not trying to convince anyone just telling my experienceI personally will never buy another Taurus anything after the p.o.s raging bull .454 i had.
They have made it easier to apply for a gun permit with an online system, but they removed some wildcat calibers like 30-378.No one would tell you anything like that over here
Is .308 Norma Mag available over on your side of the pond? They have made it easier to apply for a gun permit with an online system, but they removed some wildcat calibers like 30-378.
That said, my weatherby only has a higher value after this lol

Gfy slackerGood morning friends ,
Yesterday was one of those fix it days.
My front loading washer, that I brought 2nd hand probably 12yrs ago needed new drum bearings and a new seal. i"m guessing it was about 6yrs ago that i had to replace them, I knew what had to be done, so I was waiting for the day it really needed to be done.
The drum comes out the front, and then it comes in half and then you can knock the inner drum outta the bearings etc .
Anyway for aprox £15 ($20) and about 6hrs work, it should hopefully last another 6 or so yrs
Btw I didn’t get pics of the shaft for dall
