I'm going to town to buy some plastic boxes to store projects and also to store NOS parts in.

So....my daughter called this morning. Alternator went out. Went and got a trailer, drove to Cookeville, got her car. Hauled it home, took off the alternator, then went and got a new one, and picked her up at work....just got home.

The coolest part of all this was that when we were almost home with Millie's car, my F350 started making a weird noise. It was my alternator. The bearing came out the back of the case. Two failed alternators in one day. Ain't life grand?

We got her car fixed. Remanufactured alternator was only 275.00
