Same to you. I don't get much except for ones moving through anymore. Cows took stuff down pretty hard because of the dry spell we had. I still have some grown up areas that should give them a bit of a hiding place, especially with all the pressure on the surrounding lands. Getting to the point that I go out a lot of days just to keep trespassers off the property. At this time of year most of them don't care. Seen a lot of people wearing full camo trying to sneak in over the last few years.

I agree it didn’t live up to all the hype. The 2nd and 3rd fight were good fights.

Morning pullers of the pud. Didn’t sleep the best last night with this ice compression machine running every 30 minutes. However is sure is nice to have as I can tell the swelling has come down a little since yesterday. Doing some exercises with my heel and today there is no real tension at the knee like yesterday when they had me do them when I woke up. Going to be a nice day out but I’ll just stick to doing the Dallas. Monday morning I start therapy which will be great as this ace bandage will come off and I’ll be able to bend the knee easier.

i was putting a old wheel on my car at my friends house I broke a belt on the original and it went flat
I was pumping up the spare when her little girl probably 5 went around and let all the air out of the other 3 tires while
I was watching this one.
She also took my valve caps.

Slow and antiquated are perfect descriptions for Dallas anyway. Orange army(deer rifle season participants) invasion starts in just a hour or two here, 30 minutes before official sunrise. Taking out the boy for a while after I feed the cows in the dark. Silly girls will follow us through the field if they think I have food. And we are going into the winter cycle so I don't think you would care to be here for the next few months. Not too bitter cold like some places, but it can drop into the negatives and stay there for a few days.

I still intend to get Up There at some point.

Funny/sad story about that

We got a new teacher who was a Yooper in the elementary school where I worked in the bush

This was in a village where the residents were predominantly Central Yupik Eskimos

Within the first week of the school year the teacher was discussing a lesson with the class and referred to himself as a Yooper

The Eskimo kids had never heard that term before and they thought he was making fun of them, or being derogatory, or something like that and by the end of the day there were several dozen very angry and very vocal native parents in the school demanding the teacher be fired for being culturally insensitive

No amount of explanation from the principal, who was a Lakota Sioux from the old BIA school days, would convince them that it was all a big misunderstanding

The teacher was on a plane out of the village the next day
