Better keep the gramps mobile in good shape for sprint car racing trips.
Trying to. Wrapped up the rear exhaust manifold replacement last night, replaced a leaking transmission dipstick grommet this morning, replaced the tensioner and coolant elbows this afternoon, and I have a new PCV valve and positive battery cable to put in it tomorrow. Looking like it may need a battery too. Damn car is gonna have more new parts than old.
Well played Joe. Good for you for putting in the effort to say goodbye to someone that was good to you.
You done good Joe. At critical times like that it’s best to let bygones be bygones.
You handled that extremely well

You were obviously raised right
Thanks. I'm certainly willing to leave the past behind, and of course I would want an opportunity to say goodbye, but wasn't sure how his family would be, so I'm glad his grandson approached me.
Something usually available at local GM dealer?

Evening slackers. Pt tomorrow morning then full Dallas as they just can’t seem to find work to meet my minor restrictions. It’s really starting to get to me mentally.
I tried to stay busy at home and went around to all the older people in the neighborhood and helped them out or just sit around and drunk coffee with them.it took me around 2 years to be able to do much it's rough when you are used to working.i wish you the best of luck 👍

Good morning guys. Another perfect morning for a scooter ride in. More fun with stairs and definitely some non commie maff on the slate for today. Have a good one men.
Don't the commies need stairs too in their commie blocks? Do they use commie metric stairs? I need to do some research. I wonder if stairs are standardized around the world. Anyone travel and notice a difference? Gary? @GCJenks204

Would be a good day here but I'm taking the truck..
On Monday, the owner of the dealerships dad, Len, came in looking for me. His saw wouldn't start.
The last 3 summers I've been asked by his son, Mike, to not start it for him as he's 83 and not in the best health.
I talked Len into selling me his 026 and I would come cut up the dead tree he wants gone.

Excellent solution.

Good morning folks.
65f / 79f and similar moistures as @Loony661 Andy is mentioning.
Finally getting another round of garden stuffs with a few peppers and tomatoes, and the misses has been getting a couple of pocketful's of cucumbers every other day for quite a while.
Just a few blueberries remaining, this was what I'm thinking is the best / most plentiful harvest that I've experienced to date. Had found that soil ph needs to be lower than initially expected, with the low end target now in the 4.5-5ph range. The plants sure seen to like it.

I’m pretty sure our stairs are the same as your stairs, they have rise and run and as long as they fall within a certain ratio they will feel normal. Unit of measure is irrelevant in the math. As units of measure go, I believe we are the same as the US; Standard for residential construction and Metric for commercial.

We are as caught up on saw work as we have been in many years. Having Jonathon helping has really made a difference.
A guy tried to leave some saws at my shop Stihl 291,271 and a 171 and a stihl trimmer
I don't have time for that *s-word
He'd mixed 4 gallons efree with xp mix up last spring for them but his son stole the mixed gas for his ATV
he replaced it with straight gas
He said he was getting a dna test done to see if he actually belongs to him.
