I completely agree Larry, some just make more sense some places. We should agree that they each have their place and use the one that makes the most sense in each application. Vehicle efficiency should be measured as distance/consumption I don’t know whyu metric doesn’t use KMS/L why wouldn’t that work? Now, let’s talk Gallons, why does America need its gallon to be different than the rest of the world? Especially, why would they chose smaller???I do agree that metric has its place. Where imperial shines is in common use. The relationships between fluid measurements is much easier. Teaspoons, tablespoons, cups, pints, quarts, gallons. Liters per 100 km's is one of the most retarded ways of measuring anything. Do you guys put liter consumption gauges in your cars. My odometer and calibrated fuel pump is all I need to get accurate mileage readings. Science stuff is ok. Daily, not so much.
Here Here, almost sounds like FREEDOM!!! I kid but I do believe using what you are most used to and is most ubiquitous in your region is makes the most sense. What say we all use what works and be done with it.
