So you are seeing higher crankcase pressures than the 25-80 psi in the oil system. Interesting.No the oil itself being under pressure doesn’t perform under pressure as designed. EP compound lubricant has attitive to withstand extreme pressure and still have foam strength I guess I worded my original post wrong
@Slumberjack
This is what confused me. That last line. Oil pumps being like little hydraulic pumps and all, it made no sense that crank case pressure could overcome oil pressure.
Cool. I'll be reading that as well.Figured you would like this one.

Its microscopic air bubbles in the oil popping from the pressure between the crank bearings.
Good Evening Todd. Doing fine, we have snow on the ground but the roads and sidewalks are clear. Sounds like your masonry repair is feast or famine?Good morning Ray how are you doing today my friend
Could be another oil thread. Are some oils better than others to combat the oil issue?Figured you would like this one.

Seems like the ratings have gotten a little *f-wordy lately. Seems like the favored Delo and Rotella may not be up to par anymore. Oh and GFY Bish.That bulletin pertains to diesel engines only.
Any decent rated oil is fine, and all seem to do what is discussed in that bulletin.
This is @P.M.P. oil thread, right??
