Thanks Gunner, despite living 1000 miles away and only seeing them for about a week a year a learned a ton and hero worshipped my uncle.

Many of my favourite stories growing up start with that visits to or from that family.

Only thing he never got right was driving Chebby trucks...

My condolences Gary.

MAYBE you should lay off the gotdamn Viagra for a bit and let some blood flow back to the other head. You know.....the one that houses the memory bank......instead of the one that handles the spank bank. Jus sayin.....o_O

It actually says GMC on it.
I really need to modify it into the worlds first 2006 GFY 2500HD.
Tailgate emblem will be way easier to mod than the grille.
You would make a killing selling the emblems. Take my money, I want the first set after yours!

Fish fry with homemade potato pancakes with real maple syrup (locally made).
No greens, the deer eat them and then we just eat the deer, it ain't worth fighting them for it.
Coffee and ice cream to settle the guts down after all that excitement.

I really wish I could find a mint 10mm 044 as a 70cc saw. That’s my dream mid-size saw

Why? A MS440 is ten times the saw of the original. The entire unit has been updated, cases, crankshaft, connecting rod, piston, wrist pin, rings, flywheel, ignition module, carburetor, filtration system, just to mention a few. To think Stihl spent all that time money and energy, just to have an keyboard jockey with an old saw, undo all their good works.

From what I understand the 371 quickly became the 372 as the 371 was a little under built.

I don’t expect the young padawon to have the finesse to runaway 371 without breaking it.

That said I would like to hear what @Stump Shot would say on the matter. He’s been in both I am certain.

There's little practical difference between the two. When it came out it was sold along the 272, so it seemed smaller in the minds of buyers, with the discontinuation of the 272 and the 044 being 72 cc's....
Marketing changed that name, upgrades come in a new IPL for the model.

I’ll take that as go with the 461

Stick to your dream and get the outdated, limp wristed ten mm 044. Think of the stories you'll have when the con rod breaks, or the crank burns up or snaps in two. Ahh, good times.:)
