i got intermittent electrical problems on a 2003 grand Cherokee overland anybody had the similar. Problems

Also it's the 2.7 diesel model with the merc 5 cyl engine which suffers from the dreaded Black Death leaking injector seals
I've had the rear Cylinder seals done once and its chuffing again the fumes are coming in the cabin again

That's a better engine the trouble with the Jeep Grand Cherokee the engine is set back against the bulkhead and that back injector is a SOB to get too and its drop the engine down or cut a hole in the bulkhead to replace a copper washer and reseat that injector again

Anyone check out the new Nissan XD pickup with the Cummins 5.0 Liter? I heard good things about them.
I am also interested in the GM 2.8 Liter baby Duramax 4 cylinder pickup. I know a few guys who have them. They really like em.

They are all very expensive to fix when they break.
Don't have to pull the cab off like Furds when it's time to overhaul.

LB7 injectors suck, LLY was a stop gap. LBZ was a step up and got the 6 speed Allison. There was maybe a half year of LLY with 6 speed if I'm remembering right. Out of those the LB7 has the least junk on it.

I'd take a 6.0 over a 6.4. I hated mine for the mileage and towing power. The 6.7 Cummins with the same Hp rating would eat it up in the hills and mountains around home.

I'm liking the switch back to a gasser. Went from a 11 ram 3500 dually with the 6.7 to a 17 chevy 3500 6.0.

Kind of miss the duals for stability. Power is down a bit, but not as drastic as I thought. Couldn't justify the extra cost for the diesel.
