I'd never
I posted a link to these in the Ebay thread here a couple days ago, and I briefly considered ordering one but I studied the pictures and they just look cheap to me.

Every single part I could see just looks cheaply made.

I was helping a local guy a while back with a Farmertec saw and the fasteners were breaking off at the head when I torqued them down to near OEM spec for Stihl.
Order a Stihl or stihl clone
But the 6 clone 372s by 3 different seller's
I bought direct from china
We're not farmertec/huztl manufactured.
They were much better fit and finished
I built a farmertec 372 from parts
The quality of the cases and other components
Were not as good from farmertec imho.
Many year's ago I tried to order 272s
From crafttop/newtop machinery in china
They advertised real Japanese walbro carburetors on them
Just as farmertec does on the
272 clones they sell now.

I’m not a clone saw fan, but watch your fingers on the PTO side of the handlebar. There’s a reason Stihl has a bigger clutch cover, and a lot of it is to avoid fingers getting under the clutch cover and into the chain.

I think it could be made into a good runner but it will take some work. I think some of the fasteners would need changed out and probably the worm gear for the oil pump.

Also, I would consider swapping out the fuel and impulse lines, tank vent, fuel filter, and that upper rear mount.
Upper rear mout for sure!

I'll keep that in mind, thanks.

@MustangMike , I saw in another thread that you suggested replacing the piston bearing with an OEM one in the Farmertec 660 kits, have they stayed the same size through out the years and would this be the correct one? I'm getting low on funds and don't want to order the wrong bearing.

OEM at a good price +++.

Not sure if the pic is correct. Looks like the 440/460 ones I get. For some reason my 660 ones have orange plastic.

I would order it. OEM at $10 is VG. It is what I used to pay at dealers, but everything seems to have increased lately!

I would order it but it take 1 to 3 weeks before they ship it. I just talked with a hardware store in the next town that sales Stihl stuff, they said they could order it and it would take 3 or 4 days to come in. If I can get over there this week I'll order one. It's a pain to find OEM Stihl stuff online.

Just run it as delivered
That'll show any weakness anywhere.
Honestly just the fuel and impulse line's
Have given me issue's
No real bearing or mechanical problems
Just too light of brake flag springs.

Every oem 660 wrist pin bearing I’ve seen has had a copper colored steel cage

That is what I meant to say! I think they just have the wrong pic (for a 440/460), but you never know!

Unfortunately, my local dealer often takes as things from China!

I'm going to pull the top end when I get it so I can check out the cylinder and make sure there isn't any trash in the case, so I figured I might as well put good rings, clips and that bearing in it while I got it apart. Other than that I'm going to run it like it came and change stuff out as needed.

I did none of that I'm too lazy and
I'm 6 for 6 no issue's

Glad yours is still going, this is the put together one I bought a few years ago. I hope this clone holds up better than that one.
