Thank you sir. I always check over carbs. Diaphragms were perfect and the internal filter screen was perfect too. Set both needles at 1 turn out for the initial setting.

Came to life today!! Just need to sort out a small air leak that appears to be from the intake boot/clamp. Can anyone send me the part numbers for the upgraded boot/clamp/whatever else I may need? Measured the squish without a gasket and it was .006 so I ended up using the base gasket I had for it.

What should I do for a break in procedure? I know to keep the high speed mix a bit rich for a couple tanks but what else should I do?

If you wanted to you could heat cycle it a couple of times but I don't think it's necessary. Just keep it a little rich for a few tanks and run it like you intend to.

Just listened to the vid., that burble on deceleration tells me you are plenty lean, I would open up the high speed screw about 1/16th turn, would hate to see you burn up a new build. Sounds good otherwise, cuts pretty fast.

If it still has the intake air leak that's probably causing the lean condition.

Everything arrived today. All back together and running. No more air leak. Sounds pretty good so far. More tuning this weekend and then break in. Once she's broken in, a dual port muffler!

Finally got together with my dad at the lot he was getting wood from to make some cuts with his MS251 and my 346XP conversion. The 346 is still pretty rich for break in, pulling 12.5k unloaded, going to do that for a few tanks. Sounds pretty good in the wood. Running a 16" bar with .325 .050 Raisman full chisel and my dad's 251 is running an 18" bar with .325 .063 Oregon full chisel. Can't wait to get the 346 broken in and tuned with the dual port muffler!

Alrighty everyone! Ended up being stuck in the house for a week sick. Now the dual port muffler is on and I've been running it quite a bit. Tuned to 13.5k unloaded for probably another tank or so. Does excellent. Here's some video of me doing a little bit of cutting with it. Wood was pretty soft and old but now I've got some oak to use as test logs.
