Did some heads up comparison today. My 026 developed a fuel leak in carb. Replaced the pathetic fixed h jet carb for a 194t. Muffler modded the 026 and put a 16 pico bar and 63ps chain. This saw cuts neck and neck with my stock 346xp. Very impressed with how the old 026 cut today.

Lol the 346 is all stock. The mm and pico chain really helped out the 026. The 346 was wearing .325 lpx Oregon. The 346 runs excellent stock I don't want to mess with it. I didn't time the cuts but was happy with the improvement it made. The 346 will beat it no doubt with same chain

Do you Stihl guys ever get sick of bringing the screws falling out of Husky's deal. Someone says his Husky is faster and the first thing you guys do is go on a rampit about how at least my Stihl still has all its screws!

I honestly like husky and stihl equally as well. I run both brands and have couple of jonsereds also. They make good pro saws. My favorite Stihl's are 044 and 026. Favorite huskys are 372oe and 346. My opinion is the huskys are a little smoother and higher revs. The Stihl's seem to be a little more durable

I've had stihls come in with same problems. Just depends on owners IMHO. I mean who runs a 440 till only hanging by 1 outer muffler bolt. :risas3: Got lucky it didnt swallow a inner bolt.
