I figure if guys like that have large groups of followers, then what is the point in adding anything to that platform? People are more inclined to watch a blathering idiot talk about nonsense than they are anything else.
By the way I enjoy your videos just cutting not a bunch of bs

How about Vimeo?
Probably still some idiots there, but its not quite an imbecile asylum like youtube. It does cost a little bit of money, which may be why the idiots are not there.

I'll check it out. I'd love to be able to post a video without the Ironhorse, and BBR fan club wading into the comment section.

I'm not sure. I lost interest in posting videos a few years ago now. So I didn't really look into anything like that. I stay buried with work without any advertising, videos, threads, etc. If I start posting videos and stuff again, am I just going to have to answer the phone more often because of it?

But.....I need to get back to adding serious content to the forum. Expect a detailed thread on the MS400 soon. I'll be comparing it to the 362 as well as porting a couple of them.

I like watching buckin only when he is felling trees. I like his commentary as he goes as I feel it’s informative and you can learn something from it. Beyond that I don’t watch anything else from him. YouTube comments can be turned off, but I completely agree with other things you’ve said. Could do Vimeo and just share the videos here for fellow members to see?

How's the turbo build coming along?

I get it. I like the videos though. Seems silly to like videos of chainsaws, but i do. I tried to post a video from my phone on ope a long time ago, but for some reason it’s a no go. Was told you had to put the video on YouTube first, then copy the link. I’ll pass…

See? LOL

I’m a West Coast Saw dealer. Gordy at WCS does amazing things and is in the process of doing much more - but I’m sworn to secrecy.

How do you become a dealer Jasha?

Slow haha, I’ll get a little more work done this spring time. Been busy hunting and building rifles instead of finishing the truck. Hopefully I can sell some wood slabs this winter and find some more progress on it.

I'm gathering parts to do a Holley Sniper system with the Hyperspark ignition on my ol F350. Think I'll probably use a later model fuel tank....

I think there's plenty of videos of your saws on YouTube, just other people running them other then you. Which I think speaks volumes about your work.
Other reputable builder also have that happen frequently enough that I can view 90% of the builds I'd like to see.
Fyi you dont see that with the less than reputable ones.

Any update on these? Not looking for videos even though they’d be cool. Mainly looking for feedback now they’ve been out and have some run time on them. I’m thinking about getting a 881 next year for milling and would need it gone through. Have you got them down to a science now Randy or still tweaking things as you go?

side note…would an older 084/088 carb having larger inlet net more power do you think? I know I’ve got a 661 with a 880 carb and have heard of others stepping up carb sizes and really waking up a saw. Not a direct comparison, but if a little larger carb off an older saw could pep it up to even more it might be worth it to switch?

Pretty much got them where I want them, at least for now.

I've not had anything here lately big enough to make a decent video with this saw. My testing has been noodling to see how well they hold rpm.

The intake would be a choke point with a bigger carb, but I'm sure there are gains to be had by doing it.
