I swear I've given myself ganglion cysts from hurting my wrist starting some very stubborn big saws. I'm not ashamed to use a decomp or have a big D handle on a saw, the 281 requires it

Hmm. Only cord I ever had that broke was from a bad starter bushing. Bushing was worn out and cut the pull cord like a knife.

I had a D handle break once, and slap the top cover so hard it knocked a hole in it.

I don't see how the rope takes it either.

I had a hoss of a young man working for me for a while, he broke so many pull cords I replaced his boot laces with pull cord ,so when he did it up in the mountains we could just cut a lenth of his boot lace and continue on.

Y’all need the old McCulloch wire-cored pull cord, never bust a pull rope again!

My grandson had shoulder surgery a few days ago. He helps me with testing the saws....especially the bigger ones. I'm sure you fellas probably won't remember, but a few years ago I tore a tendon loose in my wrist starting an 084. I admit to being a little gun shy of these bigger saws. I'll work up the courage soon. LOL
