sounds like u need a toolset for crankcase assemblyI got the crankcase put together. Whew those bearing and the crankshaft are definitely bigger and stronger then the 660. I had a rough time trying to get the crank centered. I had to do a lot more then just tap the crank. Almost was going to find a press…
But I let some oil seep in overnight and finally got

It probably has same issues that 660 has. Stihl decomp and wrist pin bearing would probably be a good start. Possibly OEM or another brand crank seals. OEM impulse and fuel lines if you will be running ethanol gas.Thinking about buying a 880 kit. Is there a list of parts that I need to buy so the saw will be dependable? What about the crank tool? Where can I get this. I would like to buy from a USA dealer. Is there a USA dealer who has all the better parts that need to be replaced?
