Hey guys. With expenses from the new baby and a wedding coming up in a couple months, my chainsaw hobby had to take a back seat for a bit. I posted some of my saw collection on marketplace and sold about half of them now. I still have some bigger saws left and was planning on parting with my faithful MS660 next since I also have a 661 and just bought a @Stump Shot special 592xp a few months back. What is a reasonable asking price for a this saw? If they aren't worth much, I'd rather keep it and have it ported someday than give it away for peanuts. Thanks!

It all depends on condition. $800-1200 seems to be a good spread on fleebay. Much less for non-running, parts saws, or projects.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't think about ebay. I had it posted on marketplace for $750 as a starting point. Saw runs and always cut good for me, just doesn't get the use it deserves anymore. I've been getting offers from people anywhere from $200-400 which seemed pretty low.

Yeah Marketplace is full of low-ballers and bottom feeders. Even Craigslist is better usually.

I have sold four over the last 4 years and I priced them at $650 firm. Moved them very quick .

I'd price that one a little higher since it's got some aftermarket goods on it. @HYPERSAWS

The problem with selling local is a limited market for big saws. Heck, I’ve even seen them sit on here for a while. One on the other site, one for $425 took about a month to sell.

The regular handle and single-port muffler cover will drop the price a bit.
