Of course they will

As per fuel: I haven’t been able to find which formula is Stihl Mix but for such long storage as advertised i can only assume/think might be an AVGAS involved.

I have found that all M tronics so far loved it and you can hear & feel revs and throttle response far better than Gasoline Station.

I tested all Greek 100’s gasolines...nothing close
AV gas is total crap in saw. I ran a gallon of it and won't run it again.

Yah ... motomix is an Alkylate fuel which runs 99% cleaner than pump-gas ... lotta nasty fumes are emitted that aren’t very good for your health nor the environment when using pump-gas especially with ported saws ! It ain’t cheap but what price do you put on your health? I’ve also found the added benefit of increased compression using motomix and if carb is dialed in properly everything is clean as a whistle inside ... pricey - yes but I roll the cost into the job ... also it’s nice to pull a saw off the shelf and go cut as the fuel stays potent FAR longer than pump gas ... haven’t had to rebuild/replace a carb or fuel line(s) since I began using it ! I think a lot of people would be surprised at the quality (or lack thereof) coming out of the neighborhood pump ! Ymmv

Several guys here run the 100LL fuel without any issues.

Who in their right mind would send a new saw /new model off for mods before they even ran it :D

It ran....we started it at the dealer.

I'll talk you thru the other mods. More too a great running 461 than just the jug

Was there somthing I missed. In the 461 build thread ;)
Doh I always mess up multi quotes

May have to do a thread. Cylinder is in route right now.

I ran some a long time in 2 stroke dirt bikes. Better for higher altitudes. I'd try it in a saw if I was cutting on the mountain, but I can hit the sea with a rock, so not much good for me either.

Edit: ago. A long time ago....

"Inside every sane person there's a madman struggling to get out"

Porting a brand new saw without having used it might just about do the trick! bonkers.gif

You should try 87 octane, ethanol free. You just might be surprised.

Oh, and chit can the stihl oil.

I don’t know if such low octane is available at this part of the world.
