I ran the Stihl Ultra oil for about 10 years or more. Same oil as MotoMix. I never got the headaches but that stuff left a lot to be desired. Lots of deposits and I haven’t had a carburetor problem since switching which was surprising. Always have run 91 No Ethanol. Have since switched to Saber in all the work tools and H1R in all my personal stuff and they both are way cleaner than the Stihl oil and no problems since.

It smells like burning plastic perfume bottles to me. I'd keep it around to lend out with a saw or for putting in a saw for longer term storage, but I wouldn't run it myself.

I bought it for the extended warranty. But at 25 bones a gallon, I ain't loaning it. Lol. Those jugs cost more than my loaner saw is worth. I'm just gonna slowly blend it with my Husky mix. I use their LS1 oil and it seems pretty good. Every time I take a muffler off and look at the P&C, I'm pleasantly surprised.

Anyone use this MotoMix chit from Stihl? Any good? Danged expensive! I got it when I bought the Fo Six Won--ole boy said I get extra warranty if I bought the Stihl pre-mix. Is this stuff that gives you headaches? Man, I bought some of that Stihl synthetic stuff before and I get a headache every time I use it. I even diluted it with other pre-mix and it still gets me.

I haven’t be able to fix better mix even with 100octane.

Yes it’s very expensive at 5€ per liter but i m not able to verify if it’s long storage as advertised.

For my Stihl is the best mix.
Did you get 2year guaranty or more?

Motomix is overpriced as hell. You'd be way better off buying some VP 40:1 if you can't get your hands on e free fuel.

Yep. It's pricey, but they gave me +3 years warranty on the 461, so I bit. Like a damn impulsive catfish, I bit! We are generally pretty much e-free as far as I'm aware.

Those 462C's I got last week should run pretty good on it then. ;)

It's worth it for the extra warranty for sure. As long as it stays stock haha

Yep. That's why I made that impulsive post a while back. Trying to make myself feel better about it. Oh well, I'd rather have the ported version than the stocker anyway. Eff the warranty.

Of course they will

As per fuel: I haven’t been able to find which formula is Stihl Mix but for such long storage as advertised i can only assume/think might be an AVGAS involved.

I have found that all M tronics so far loved it and you can hear & feel revs and throttle response far better than Gasoline Station.

I tested all Greek 100’s gasolines...nothing close
