MS462 FOR SALE IN GERMANY

Speaking from personal trigger time? Maybe? Not?

Lots of time. The first MS261C I built lived here with me for a couple of years. We were cutting a chit load of firewood then too.

Anybody know if this thing is a split Venturi single carb like a ms261 or does it use two butterflies like an ms362? Can't quite tell from the pics I've seen.

"WOT a tick less powerful than the 461. In low rpm range under load a bit less powerful than the 461. But without load, for stihl, a quite agressiv character. "

Kinda makes sense, it is 6cc smaller

If it's like the 261, 362 saws, it'll have considerably more power after a dozen tanks. It'd be cool to hear that it's stronger than the 461 once broken in.

First thing I see is MSRP that is less than the 461... Makes it real attractive if that price relationship carries over to NA.

Only 4.3 cc less, will hardly notice it, and M-Tronic should make up for that.

Not sure what the bore & stroke are, but must be something different!
