Meh.......I'm doing a lot better.

Had to stop wearing boots. Got some Merrell lightweight hikers (Arch support and lightweight) and have been feeling very well. I chatted with Al about that (I thought it was odd that different shoes could make that much difference) and he was not surprised. With a groin injury, stuff like that really matters. I still fully intend to have an MRI done when I sell my calves this spring, or if I start getting in serious pain again. But.......for now I feel pretty damn good.
I found the best arch support was using my feet properly and spending more time walking barefoot, I'm in chainsaw boots all day, feet hardly move...

If the ms500 80cc is a success maybe the next model will be the ms600 94cc. Just guessing/hoping.

I expect the next one to be an MS800i or MS900i replacement for the 880. Stihl has already announced that they will be unable to market the current 880 in Europe after this year.

Are there any trees big enough left in Europe for a saw that big?

So that could take care of 441/461/R

Interesting

Just got a 461, looking forward to watching the 462 once it gets to Oz and the US and see how many flaws they can iron out

The 462 I ran was the best stock saw (in that class) I have ever ran
If the blokes can port them as they have done with the 461s then will have a great saw.
