I like how they run but there heavy and bulky and a pia to work on.

I tried a different approach porting this one so I hope it runs good but if not I got a spare bullet.

Should be a nice looking saw for the classifieds.

Great saws when ported but Stihls biggest PITA to work on.

Now I don't get into anywhere as many saw as y'all do and I hated my first 441...so much so that I bought another one just to smash the heck out of it in anger and learn them. I'm a little hard headed and tend to smash stuff in anger( no good ever comes from it but I am what I am).
They do get easier when you "forget everything you've ever learned" from working on all the Stihl saws you've rebuilt previous.

Jason I would love to run it with my 440 that Al built. Might be a nice vid at Dans GTG ? What's that gonna be like 10 saws your sending ? :)

It does sound good J. Nice and smooth, almost like an Mtronic.

No.
Not really sure what to do to them so I leave them be.

I wish I Could make a 044 run like these will. Smooth and fast.
I'm getting better working on them so I just mildly hate them now.

I got a box of "almost smashed" bits of 441 if ya need something....give a holla...wouldn't mind trading fer some 066 stuffs.
