The MS 441 C (on the recoil cover) is MTronic, the regular MS 441 is not.

My understanding is the C on the cover is a designation of additional features. There won't be an m. Did you use the cover in the pic?

This will come as no surprise to most,I'm a idiot. I have 2 441 recoils one 441c one 441. This is a 441 not a 441c.

I always thought "C" meant comfort and "M" was Mtronic. May not be so on the 441.

The confusion is on the website "C" is used to designate "Comfort Features", and "M" "MTronic".
However, on the saw itself, The recoil cover for MTronic saws will say "MS 362 C or MS 441 C etc" and non MTronic saws will just say "MS 362 or MS 441".
It's not you Jason, Stihl just has a stupid system of labeling their saws that defy s logic.
