I'd love to see a heads up comparison between a ported 044 and a ported 441.
We've seen Jasons videos of the 066 and 661 and they seem really close with IMO the only real difference is the 661 is smoother.
I'm wondering if we would see similar results with a 044 vs 441

Stock for stock.

The 441 was much smoother than The 044 I have. 441 also has a different power feel to it than a 044.

The R springs that come with the wraps on the 441 make a huge difference IMO.... much more firm feeling.

I don't have a 044 here but the 441 is faster than I can make a 044

The 441 is a couple oz heavierthan my 92cc 064 hybrid

They are very smooth, more so than any saw I've ran

Who will be bringing the ported 441 to Dan's GTG?

It's pretty incredible that the 441 outweighs the 064 hybrid. I mean, a smooth saw is nice and all, but 92ccs vs. 70 (or is it 71?).

I assume your hybrid doesn't weigh any less than a standard 064, in which case, even 85ccs vs the 441 seems like a pretty easy choice. At least it would be from my perspective, but I know there's plenty of situations the 441 might be better and operators who might prefer it. After all, I'm not using a saw every day.
