Hi All.
Am looking at a AM MS390 Case.
The new case is p# 11270203003.
My case is 11270210800.
Is the new case an updated p#?
BTW saw was run over with tractor (not by me lol). Not a good look.
Thanks in advance
Chris.

After some more research it could be to do with the caps.
Mine are flippy.AM cases appear to be screw in.
Awaiting replies from sellers.
Chris.

The ms 390 has the same saw case as the ms290 and ms310 some 029 and 039. The only difference is in some of the early saws they have a different fuel tank vent systems than the later.
If I recall the old style looks like a hose and the newer is black mushroom looking deal. The rear handle part of the saw, the orange part. Is also different to fit said vent. I don’t remember if the change came at the same time as the twist cap change.
It might be easier to find a case off of 290 029 they are much more common

Thanks Tugg.
Looking at getting a new AM case here in Aust.
Was just wondering if all my OEM parts will fit the AM case with different p#.
Seems good to go to me.
Chris.
