A new solenoid 0000 120 5110 was the magic bullet.

$38 out the door.

Idles perfectly now. [emoji3060]
Glad the solenoid fixed it, they recommend changing the fuel filter out to the new orange ones too
If I remember right. Filters better to reduce the solenoid wear and problems because of dirty fuel.

I figured.

Not that there's anything wrong with the black one. But the white one is a little better.

Mine runs fine with the black one so far, kept the same filter on it but I've got an orange one. Might switch it out.

If it's running good roll with it. The white one is supposedly built with better components so when it's time to replace that's the route I'd go. The white one has worked well in every saw I've put it in.

Yeah, thats the plan. Aint no sense in switching it out if its working good. When and if it starts acting up I'll switch it.

I switched a few black to white. They interchange just fine. Guys have said otherwise. They're wrong.

I have been told by quite a few Stihl techs that it usually is the solenoid so I bought a couple just to have for when I need them. Fixing saws for 3 different tree services now and they all have at least one mtronic saw the one has 8 or 9

Same thoughts I'm having. 362 are showing up and 462's will be around soon. Was asked about modding a 462 today, almost new. I have a 362 Mtron in my fleet now. Better to be ready than sorry for such a small part.
