There are 2 calibration procedures.
One without a MDG and SDS.
Its like tuning a carb with limiter caps on.

If you tune the saw with the software it will set a new base tune and changes the limit for highest and lowest setting.
I think after doing some port work it would be nice to do a full calibration with the software.

All Mtronic 2.1 and newer models with the calibration process.
Old Mtronic saws did just a reset to factory settings.
Newer Mtronic does adapts the tune in this calibration.

There is a lot confusion about this:

Mtronic 1/2.0 = factory reset = 90 seconds on cold start position
Mtronic 2.1/3.0 = calibration =30 seconds cold start and then WOT till RPMs drop down from 14k to 10k.

On those newer mtronic saws the software asks you about heigt above NN and will change more settings.
