I don't see the point, don't the saws (241, 261, 362, 462) that use that baby round air filter, have air injection to keep the filter cleaner for longer?

I know the saws I have owned with that Lil air filter, always stayed clean for long time. I would not waste the monies on a max flow for any of them saws.

I've had a max flow for 046/460/461 going on 3 years now, never used it. Sits on the shelf NIP (new in package)

Is it really that difficult to take the filter off, and tap it out, when refueling the saw??

Then put it on your saw and give it a whirl. The Maxflo filters are superior to any OEM filter.

the recently introduced 545/550xp mark II will have the same filter design as the 565/572, with rubber seal etc., should work way better and cleaner

I personally love the max flow system Iam running on my 661

They are great filters, but most versions will not fit under the stock covers (IMO a PITA) (661 is the exception), and I would rather clean my filters more often than go through cleaning a Max Flow. Personal choice.
