Here's what I have for opening points.


Squish: .022”

Exhaust: 101°

Mains: 123°

Secondaries: 120°

Intake: 82°

That's using a ring in the bore.....not trying to shine a light to "see" when they open.

Looks to me like the primaries open first (exhaust side), then secondaries (intake side)
Ports look to open on exhaust side first.... something I have been doing for a while now, just by a little bit.

I see what you are talking about now. I was concentrating on the opening point toward the exhaust and mis-named the ports.

In Colorado toastie means something else...........

cutting the base puts the port back to lower dur numbers, went from42.1 to 44.4 on timed cuts. this is what I expected. now I can report it in a different order.
